Student Leadership
Student leaders enhance our school environment by making it more dynamic, inclusive and engaging for all students.
Cub Council is made up of student representatives from grades K-9. From brainstorming exciting school spirit days that get everyone dressed up and cheering, to actively supporting and organizing school-wide events that bring our community together, our Cub Council plays a central role in fostering a positive and welcoming school environment. They're the go-to people for boosting morale and ensuring every event is a success!
DEI stands for diversity, equity and inclusion which are all very important to the NCS community. This K-9 club strives to empower students to lead initiatives that promote equity, celebrate diversity, and build an inclusive school culture where everyone feels they belong.
Learning to Lead is a Grade 9 complementary course designed to help students build leadership skills, boost their confidence, and make meaningful and positive contributions to our school community. Students develop communication, organization, event planning, and decision-making skills, while learning how to work collaboratively with peers, teachers, and community members.
